Strivers United is led by Gage Mersereau and Bharat Chopra. The name Strivers United pays homage to Strivers Row, a street in Harlem, NY known as a cultural mecca for African-American entrepreneurs and artists in the mid-20th century (and just a few blocks from where Bharat lives).

I wore many hats at my startup until it was acquired. I felt pride when the acquirers' employees were shocked at how small our team was. I was also surprised how the acquirer prioritized their CEO's industry networking.
Now I understood. I was playing the game with less information than my competitors. I needed digital meetups as an efficient group networking alternative to 1-on-1 meetings so I could get the marketing intelligence I need. while continuing to wear many hats :)

My mission is to be a catalyst that enables people, especially children, to develop a growth mindset and ultimately create joy in their lives. I do this indirectly, and at scale, by empowering local and youth sports operators, and the technology companies that serve them, to make life easier, simpler, and happier for everyone.
My experience in management consulting, big corporate, The Economist Intelligence Unit's Corporate Network, early stage startups, and within the youth sports industry itself, building the LeagueApps Integration Center, position me well to help bring this community together.
